See the various EC covers.

Also, some of EC’s titles have drop shadows on some of the words. It might be worth playing around with this.

Messing around with the color might be helpful too. Maybe a fade on one or both of the words? A colored border on one or both?

In any case, I feel that the words Obscure and Tales need to be distinct from each other. Tales is a shorter word than Obscure so making them the same font and stretching out tales doesn’t seem to work IMHO.

That’s my 2 ½ cents, keep up the fantastic work.

-SwinebreadSwinebreadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02947060321484913676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3112529335397528732.post-23324801330830695912009-04-06T15:59:00.000-04:002009-04-06T15:59:00.000-04:00That story is really, REALLY good.Like samax I lik...That story is really, REALLY good.

Like samax I liked the old ads.

That was the cutest monster ever.

Logo is fine.Dean Wormerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06214049238722718299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3112529335397528732.post-27821306483127335372009-04-04T14:15:00.000-04:002009-04-04T14:15:00.000-04:00That is an interesting inking style. It does look like you are new to inking that style, but since you are, it is a great start.

As far as the OT logo goes, I like it myself. I grabbed a pile of comics and looked at all the logos to see what about yours is different. I like that it looks inked rather than the modified existing fonts I saw in my comic pile. The one possible negative is that you shaded yours using "old school" inking techniques while all of the comics in my pile were either straight outline, back shadow, or obviously computer-generated gradient fill. I favor your old-school look.Don Snabulushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05911180639753508627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3112529335397528732.post-50059507890101338322009-04-04T13:44:00.000-04:002009-04-04T13:44:00.000-04:00Fast and quick!
