I want our place to be like Rivendell or something; where you forget about buying kitty litter and such.

Dave is a good-looking guy, isn't he. I was always slightly jealous. Ok. very jealous.

and one good friend is better than a room full of acquaintances. Plus family is good too. My sister and I are actually conversing lately. I think my niece has something to do with it.Arkonbeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11056581569235023216noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3112529335397528732.post-89940829119963050182008-12-01T11:40:00.000-05:002008-12-01T11:40:00.000-05:00Looks like a wonderful day, also folks like to get...Looks like a wonderful day, also folks like to get home (I tend to be an early leaver myself)...since there's always crap to do (pets, shopping, actual housework)...

Hope you find more info someday about your friend. Great pic, looks like he coulda been a movie star!

Funny that, didn't keep up w/anyone from High School at all...even though the majority stayed here in the Portland area...only have my BF since 5th grad and ONE college friend (my other college friends scattered to the winds, and one died). Am close w/siblings though..and my husband's family.

Co-workers tend to be nice (or not!) aquantainces..but not much more.ladybughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08814418184624819506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3112529335397528732.post-56043546781891643342008-11-30T22:05:00.000-05:002008-11-30T22:05:00.000-05:00I think as people get older, little things like di...I think as people get older, little things like different beds make for sore backs and stiffness. I am sure you were wonderful hosts, but feeling creaky can make an early exit more likely.

I don't get as excited about overnights as a guest as I used to and I am still fairly young. Nonetheless, it sounded like a dandy Thanksgiving and I would like to have tried that local bird.

It would be cool if you could find one of these long friends. Or maybe it wouldn't...life can be pretty hard sometimes.Don Snabulushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05911180639753508627noreply@blogger.com
