Maybe I need help

So. It's elevated bears again. I can't help it, they're fun to draw. One of the (many) things that I've been having trouble with the elevated bears is how the eyes work around the snout. So, at the suggestion of (and with clay provided by) Sweet Enemy, I did a small bust of an Elevated Bear. It's rough as I haven't done any kind of sculpture in about eight years. I think this turned out well. Of, course FUR is an advanced skill so this is a de-furred elevated bear. I started about 8pm EST and worked on an off until about 11. Here it is, two inches tall to the ears:

listening to while posting: "Fly Me to the Moon" by Frank Sinatra

Nice. Did you sculpt that as well?

Fly me to the moon is prolly my favorite Sinatra song.

Yes, I did sculpt it. Not bad for such a long hiatus?

I really like Fly Me to the Moon. When I was 10 my grandmother got me this giant, cheesy, copper airplane-themed music box thing. I didn't like it, but I kept it because it played FMthM.

It actually became a really sad song when the mechanism slowed down...

Nice. If you played it backwards did you get an evil message from Sinatra?

My oldest likes to do those waverider deals and she usually puts some Rat Pack tune in the background. She's 14. I can't decide if she's the wierdest or the coolest kid I know.

Dean: sometimes there's very little line between weird and cool.

Me, I think that's cool. And weird.

As cool/weird as my dad, who really only listens to blues anymore, told me he really likes Twelve Girls Band .

Goes to show, you never know.

the sculpt is well-done. The profile view works well. Maybe you understand bears better than you thought you did?
