Chistmas!

I don't have a big readership here at Obscurum, so those that comment regularly feel like friends. This was especially true recently when Swinebread's good friend Josh died. I wanted to say something. Something really good that would give comfort. I knew I couldn't. I never knew Josh except for the sweet documentary SB did of him and his cat ( here. It's at the bottom) and I've never actually met Swinebred or Snab and Ladybug or the Dean in person, but I am certain I'd like to (for whatever that's worth).

So, here's a wish for good memories and good moments ahead. Swinebread (and Wife and Jr.). Snab and Ladybug (and mini-Snab). Dean (and the entire faculty). Tom. Becca.

Merry Christmas!

For those who want to know, that's this years christmas card. Hand carved and hand printed by me (48 prints). You guys get the digital one, since I don't know your addresses ;)

Those who read, but weren't mentioned here, are more than likely getting a card.

Here's the block:

p.s. Since I'm off tomorrow, I will try to finish up an Xmas update for The Suns...

Thank you so much Arkonbey! It's a pleasure reading your blog, seeing all the great art you and Sweet Enemy make. I get to live vicariously through you guys, and hopefully support you in your work. Artists are important!

PS, I wanted to get a copy of the T-shirt?/poster you made for Comic Day but couldn't figure out an email to send my request too...and how to pay?

You got it LB. I meant every word.

You want a 24hrCD thing? I'm really, really flattered! I would recommend a poster, though The t-shirts were good enough for the souvenier of the night, but it was a lot of small type for a first-time screen printer.

I was thinking of having a nice high-res 11 x 17 print done for myself if you'd like one, email me at:

ethreedesign AT hotmail.com (then I'll direct you to the "real" email address.

Stay warm!

Merry Christmas to you too, good sir (and SE as well)!

After all the Internetting, you and Pandabonium are the two that have punctured the anonymity into friendship.

I appreciate your comments on our blogs and your artwork and life stories. It is good stuff, to say the least.

On our next east coast swing, we will be looking you up. We have friends and family in NH, Boston, and farther south in DC. My work HQ is in PA. Maple country ain't far.

Thank you for your kind words Arky,

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

If you ever have a chance to come to Oregon, we'll make sure meet and greet. (and vice versa if any of us are back east)

I love your woodcut. I hope to see more!

Snab: We'd be happy to have you over! We throw rocks at NH all the time ;)

SB: You're welcome (and thanks)

TF: Remember, it's one more year closer to being done with school! (I would have wished you a merry christmas in Italian, but according to babelfish, Italian for 'merry christmas' is 'merry christmas'.
