minor update: life in Northern New England

The old joke is true. We waited a minute and this is what we woke up to this morning:

This is last week:

This is how Sweet Enemy looks as of 1030 hrs EST. A couch, a woodstove, a blanket, a cat and a new Terry Pratchett Book = Heaven:

pax!

Isn't that something? It is 72F and gorgeous in soggy old Portland.

Enjoy the snow and the book (for SE)!

Damned global warming.

A book and a couch sound really good right now.

Kuddy! I like kuddies when I'm snuggled and reading...but ours causes allergies for the rest of the crew in this house.

Plus, he's really, really hairy...his garage bed is, well, gross!

@ladybug: as in, it's no longer a bed, it's a nest of woven fur?
Too bad about the allergies! Perhaps some hairspray would help...

Sweet Enemy-Yes, a woven nest of fur :P...he's a long hair outside cat, but we let him sleep in the garage when it's cold.... I'm not the allergic one though, everybody else is. Don't know about the hairspray...it might just be better to keep him outside!
