I finished off a sketchbook yesterday. Woo! It's got just over a year of stuff in it and is the first sketchbook that I wouldn't mind someone looking at 'un-expurgated'.
Here's the last thing I did. It's Long Tall Sally berating Captain Armsakimbo for something. (without any background reference, he looks far away, when if fact LTS is very very tall. Hey, it's a sketch! Whaddaya want?)
Here are the first things in the new sketchbook. Pictures of Anne Margaret Johnson for the Weekly Challenge.

I really like the last drawing. You can almost feel the environment in that one!
I hope SE is feeling better. I've been out cold for almost a whole week with a nasty flu. Hopefully she is fairing better than I was!
unfortunately all I can say is: what he said.
but then I am suicidally depressed.
sorry to kill the good vibes or whatever...
I like the last drawing too. There is something very natural about it. It’s like it’s a snapshot that an investigator found while cracking a case. (if that makes sense)
what are the colors on the superheroes costumes?
Ok, ditto on the vote for the last one...definitely looks like a frame from a storyline....
Hmmm, sketchbook as a diary-could work ya know? and waaay more interesting!
Thanks for the comments on the second piece. It turned out better than I thought it would.
AndreZero: Heard you were back on the mat and disease-free
Dr. S: Oh, stop it ;)
Swinebred: Sweet Enemy and I were talking about '24 Hours Mystery' shots like that last night. I have no idea what the colors are except the dark parts are black. I actually got a B- in color theory...
what do you think?
Ladybug: Every now and then I think it would be cool to do an sketchbook diary, but I live in Vermont and this Vermonter has been doing sketchbook diaries since like, 95. So, it would feel weird and copy-cat-ish.
Plus, my life isn't as interesting as it once was. |(
With black? That’s rough...hmmm maybe a dark violet?
